Clarion County Special Olympics is sponsoring our first ever POLAR PLUNGE. This event will take place on February 20th on the campus of Penn West. You are invited to join us and be a part of history. There are several ways for schools, businesses, the Emergency Medical responders, and community members can support Special Olympics in this PLUNGE. Schools….challenge your clubs, sports teams, homerooms, teachers, staff, and administration to become a Top Fundraiser. You are welcome to come to Campau and take the PLUNGE or, compete on your own campuses. Don’t want to take the whole PLUNGE? How about doing the Chicken Dip?! Put your toes in and still support our local athletes. Want to bring students to the event, contact Emily Brent at [email protected] to get more details and schedule a time. Want to have a smaller event on your own campus, we can make that happen too. Hold a POLAR POP or a homeroom/club competition where the group who raises the most money, earns an ice cream party.
Emergency medical professionals and volunteers…challenge your leadership or teammates to take the PLUNGE. Want to challenge another emergency medical company to take the PLUNGE? Set a goal of, for example, $1,000 for that company to raise. Whichever company raises the least, their members have to take the PLUNGE. If taking the PLUNGE isn’t in your sights, see who can raise the most funds in donations. Challenge your local law enforcement or fire firefighters to join in the FUN!
There is no limit to the way you can help us raise monies for our athletes. Use the QR code below to register and or make a donation. Know someone who is taking the PLUNGE? You can support them in their fundraising.
Donations of $75.00 will get you a sweatshirt, however you can donate any amount.
While this is an inperson event, you DO NOT need to be present to donate.
