Claremont Runs on Marigold; Quarterly 5k Run Club

We didn't expect this to blow up so quickly! Appreciate all of y'all who wanted to join us on our run! We're just a group of friends who love running and being a part of the community and wanted to get together for a cool run (while enjoying our favorite coffee), that has similar terrain as the LA Marathon. We're so stoked to have all of you joining in, and we'd love to have anyone of any skill level there. Whether you wanted to go full speed to train or take a brisk walk to get some movement in with your neighbors, you're more than welcome to join.

We decided to also make some shirts for the event, with a portion of the profits going to a local charity, Inland Coalition 4 Immigration Justice, helping families torn apart by providing legal aid, education, resources, and rapid responses to border patrol opperations-- as we figured why not take advantage of this gathering to give back some support to the folks in our community who are really needing it now. We also are accepting direct donations for them either anonymously or we can give you/your business a shoutout for donations over $100!

Below we'll attach the link to a Strava of the route. Stretching begins at 8:00am and the run starts at 8:30am. Weather should be nice, but we still definitely recommend bringing water. Limited snacks will be offered, as well as food and beverages (acai, protein treats, pastries, coffee, matcha, etc) for purchase. Wear comfortable clothes, closed toed supportive shoes, etc. And most importantly, don't push yourself past your limits, and have fun!

We won't be liable for any injuries to person or property as this is just a community gathering we're facilitating the gathering of and hold no responsibility for safety and health of participants. Signing up and partaking in the run and stretches assumes yourself full liability of your wellbeing. We are not responsible for terrain, route maintanence, tracking, or any actions of other participants. Please do not bring any unattended youth.
