Inspired by the cross-border brass competitions of the early 1900’s, the first ever Clans vs Counties Contest will bring together 10 brass bands from across Scotland and the North of England in a unique musical face-off, celebrating regional pride, friendly rivalry, and community spirit.Each band will showcase their talents and skills through a timed own-choice musical programme and with over 320 performers taking part, it promises to be a lively day of entertainment and live music making for all the family.
The competition will conclude with an awards ceremony, where we will crown the first ever Clans vs Counties champions and find out which area has gained the ultimate bragging rights - will it be Scotland or the North of England.
