Free concert this month: Ben Lahring, classical guitar
Join us at Clairmont Community Church on Friday June 26 at 7pm for a free evening of classical guitar with our own pastor, Ben Lahring. Many of you know Ben from Sunday mornings. Fewer may know he performs internationally as a classical guitarist, and he’s donating this evening in support of the Bread Plus Food Pantry.
His playing has been called “absolutely beautiful” by Liona Boyd and “one of the most singularly beautiful guitar recitals” by Fanfare Magazine. It’s a rare chance to hear world-class music right here in Clairmont.
Entry is free. We’ll be collecting cash and item donations at the door for the Bread Plus Food Pantry, which provides practical, dignified support to families and individuals facing food insecurity in our community. Come for the music, and help us care for our neighbours.
