Clackamas Chamber of Commerce Listening Session w/ CWP
About this Event
is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has served as Clackamas County’s certified workforce board since 2001. As one of Oregon’s nine workforce boards, CWP is responsible for funding/supporting initiatives and activities that meet the needs of our area’s key industries, business community, and workforce.
CWP supports local employers through (CCBS). CCBS is a partner network of 11 organizations, with a mission to be responsive and accountable to the needs of Clackamas County’s business/employer community. Additionally, CWP and our partners assist individuals in obtaining the skills and credentials needed for employment in our region’s critical industries and occupations.
CWP would like to connect with Clackamas County’s Chambers of Commerce (and similar entities serving the local business and employer community) to explore opportunities for further collaboration and partnership.
CWP would like to learn more about the Chambers & their members, including:
· Current and upcoming Chamber activities and initiatives
· Goals and priorities for your organization, your members, and your community
· Any challenges facing your organization, your members, and your community
· Specific resources and/or overarching services that your or your members may need or be interested in
There will be brief overview of CWP, the local workforce system, and some of the resourcesavailable to businesses/employer, but this initial conversation will focus on the Chambers and their members. This input and expertise will be used to determine any next steps or follow-up activities.
