This festive family 5K tradition welcomes runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to celebrate the season as a community in the CLA Blue Back Mitten Run. The 3.1-mile road race winds through West Hartford’s decorated neighborhoods and past festive shop windows.
5K participants earn a holiday inspired mittens and enjoy delicious holiday cookies post-race in Blue Back Square. Early registrants also receive a personalized race bib with your name!
NEW! Sleigh the Ks holiday challenge for those that love festive 5Ks with friends and merry reasons to run! Slay a weekend of holiday 5Ks and the 12Ks of Christmas to earn a bundle of sweet seasonal swag. In addition to participating in the CLA Blue Back Mitten Run, add Norwich Winterfest 5K to earn a long-sleeved shirt, and the 12Ks of Christmas challenge, complete with hoodie sweatshirt.
