Have you thought about ways to better your probability of survival during a critical incident?Kent County Sheriff’s Deputy, Omar Dieppa will be hosting CRASE (Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events) training.
The Civilian Response to Active Shooter course, designed and built on the Avoid, Deny, Defend (ADD) strategy provides tactics, guidance and a proven plan for surviving an active shooter event or other critical incident. Topics include the history and prevalence of active shooter events, civilian response options and considerations for conducting drills.
This training is open to the general public. No need to RSVP. Sessions will be available on the following dates / times:
Wednesday, May 7th at the Amy Van Andel Library
Wednesday, May 21st at the Cascade Winser Center
Monday, May 26th Grand Rapids Township Hall
