The Overbrook Police Department will host Citizen Response to Active Shooter Events (C.R.A.S.E.) on Monday, January 13th, 2025 from 6-8 PM at the Overbrook Community Center. The class will be taught by Master Deputy Troy Squire of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office. The course will cover the history of active shooter events, current trends and what people can do to survive and expect from law enforcement response. This free class is open to anyone and business owners, parents, educators, church members and all citizens are encouraged to attend. Overbrook PD will provide refreshments and a Q & A will follow the presentation.
