After being inducted into the Civil War Army, children will back Maple Sugar Cookies, hand-sew a soldiers’ housewife (something every soldier needed!), make a period craft, play with Civil War toys and learn about being a soldier with a hands-on experience in the Veterans Museum. 6 children max. Ages 6 years old and up. $10. Register at LasdonPublicGardens.org.
