In honor of the Anniversary Month of the Civil War, the Elk Creek Township Historical Society hosts our April edition of the 5th year of our Speaker Series at The Little Church on the Hill with Earl Baumgardner presenting on a what Hospitals and Medical Care were like during the Civil War!Please feel free to come with questions as our atmosphere lends itself to be a cozy and comfortable safe space to ask questions and share your stories and experiences!
The event is planned to be held in person with a Live Feed available on our Facebook Page as long as our technology cooperates, but will be exclusively streamed online as a alternate option if we are unable to host in-person. This event is free, but donations are always appreciated and go directly towards the continuing maintenance, preservation, and restoration of The Little Church on the Hill by The Elk Creek Township Historical Society.
Our mission with the Speaker Series is to benefit our Community with topics relating to history, local life, and culture. If you have any suggestions of topics you'd like to see in a future presentation or are interested in presenting, please contact us.
