Mornington Peninsula Shire Council 2026 Civic Recognition Event

Join us for an evening of celebration as we recognise outstanding members of our community at this year's Civic Recognition Event. This in-person event will take place on Thursday, 10 September 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Mornington Peninsula Regional Gallery, Civic Reserve, Dunns Road, Mornington.

We will be honouring individuals who have made meaningful contributions to the Peninsula, including recipients recognised on the King's Birthday Australian Honours List, 2026 Australia Day Local and Youth Recognition Awards, Mayor’s Short Story winners, long-serving Shire volunteers, and representatives from the Australia Day Selection Panel and Order of Australia Association.

It is set to be a relaxed and enjoyable evening — a chance to come together, reflect, and say thank you to those who help make our community vibrant, connected, and proud.
