The Scenic Rim Annual Civic Leaders Prayer Breakfast will be held at the Boonah Cultural Centre on 4th October at 7 am.The prayer breakfast enjoys widespread support from churches of the Scenic Rim and, this year, we are privileged to have as our guest speaker, Brigadier Aaran Hassell.
Aaran is Commander of the Army’s 8th Brigade and was a graduate of the Australian Defence Academy and the Royal Military College - Duntroon. He was deployed as chief intelligence officer to East Timor and Afghanistan. Aaran is a great presenter and communicator.
As in previous years, the reason we come together is to pray for our nation and our leaders in the Federal, State and Local Government. Prayers are also of supreme importance for our church leaders and administrators. The Bible exhorts us to pray and intercede for those in authority over us and we cordially invite you to join with us on this special occasion.
