The Solon VFW Post 1863, Amvets Post 11 and City of Solon invite you to come together to remember and honor who have made the ultimate sacrifice for or country.We will be gathering at Veteran’s Park for opening remarks and lowering the American Flags to Half Staff.
The procession to Roselawn Cemetery will depart Veteran’s Park, head south on SOM Center Road, turn right (west) on Aurora Road, turn right (north) on Solon Road, and enter Roselawn Cemetery.
Services at Roselawn Cemetery includes the lowering the American Flag to Half Staff, National Anthem performed by Solon High School Band, speakers, Roll Call of Wars, Moment of Silence, Rifle Salute, Taps performed by Solon High School Band and returning the American Flag to Full Staff.
As we approach this special day, let us take time to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives to protect our freedom. This is a great opportunity to come together as a community to honor our fallen heroes and to show our appreciation for their service.
