Mark the Date for this Annual Fun Family Community Event!
Join us at Shafor Park for the Annual Family Fall Festival and enjoy an afternoon full of fun games and entertainment for the whole family! We will be having our annual "Costume Parade" for kids to participate in so make sure to wear your Halloween costume and we will have prizes for the best-looking and most creative costumes. To wrap up the festival, we will be announcing the winners for Scarecrow Row!

City of Oakwood's Annual Contest
Scarecrow Build Day: Sunday, October 12, 2025
from 9:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Scarecrow Judging Day: Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 3:30 P.M.
Entries will be judged on creativity and originality and prizes will be awarded to First, Second and Third Place in addition to the Mayor’s Award. The Scarecrows will be judged the day of the Family Fall Festival on October 12, 2025.
