The City of Jackson's Community Police Oversight Commission will hold its final meeting of 2026 on Thursday, November 12, at 6:00 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Jr. Recreation Center, 1107 Adrian Street.
The meeting will include updates from the Jackson Police Department, a review of complaint activity, discussion of complaint review procedures, continued review of the Commission's governing ordinance, and a look back at the Commission's work throughout 2026.
Public participation is always welcome, and residents will have opportunities to provide comments and share concerns.
The Commission has spent the past year meeting throughout Jackson's neighborhoods, and we appreciate everyone who has attended, asked questions, and contributed to the conversation.
We hope you'll join us for this final meeting of the year as we reflect on our work and look ahead to 2027.
