City of Hanford 2026 Catfish Crawl

Get ready to cast a line and reel in some fun at the Catfish Crawl Fishing Derby at Hidden Valley Park! This exciting youth fishing event is open to children ages 3–13 and offers a fun, family-friendly opportunity for young anglers of all experience levels to enjoy a day of fishing and friendly competition.

Participants will compete in one of three age divisions: Ages 3–6, Ages 7–9, and Ages 10–13. The $7 registration fee includes tackle and bait, making it easy for participants to get started.

Trophies will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age group, so bring your best fishing skills and see what you can reel in! Food trucks will also be on-site with food available for purchase throughout the event.

Whether it's your child's first time fishing or they're already an experienced young angler, the Catfish Crawl is a great way to get outdoors, have fun, and make lasting memories at Hidden Valley Park.
