We are happy to invite you to a Recruiting Event at the City of Fairfax Police Department (3730 Blenheim Blvd, Fairfax, VA 22030) on Wednesday, July 31st, 2024 from 5pm until 7pm.

During the Recruiting Event you will have the opportunity to learn more about the Police Officer positions we have available. Our team will be there to provide insight and answer any questions you may have to help guide you through the entire application process ! !

Competitive Pay and Hiring Incentives:

• Starting Base Pay: $63,828.43, after Two Years of Service: PFC / $73,593.72
• Starting Base Pay with a Bachelor's Degree, or Four Years minimum of Military Service: $66,541.14, after Two Years of Service: PFC / $76,721.46
• Starting Base Pay with Bachelor's and Master's Degree's: $69,369.14, after Two Years of Service: PFC / $79,982.12
• Increased Starting Base Pay for Certified Officers based on Years of Service (3yr Minimum)
• Foreign Language Skills Bonus: $5,000.00 annually (Re-Certified Bi-Annually Through Testing)
