The City of Destin will be hosting its Annual Family Independence Day Celebration & Bike parade for children 16 & under. The event will take place at the Destin Elementary School Track (630 Kelly Street), on Wednesday July 1st starting at 4:00pm, parade kick-off will be at 6:00pm. Food trucks will be onsite offering a variety of dinner options from 4:00-7:00pm. Pre-registration required and can be done by going to www.cityofdestin.com/reconline. The event is free to the public. Come show off your decorated bike, stroller, or wagon. Awards will be given for different categories. There will be face painting, arts & crafts, bouncy house, and live music by John Davis, the "Fishin' Musician". Food truck vendor spaces are limited, so if interested in being a vendor please register early, call 850-654-5184.
