About this Event
The City of Cambridge Bowmen are proud to host a ‘double’ World Record Status Double WA720 tournament annually in May.
Dates for 2026 are the 16th & 17th May.
Rounds to include 70m for recurve and longbow, 60m for 50+ and Under 18s, and 50m for compound and barebow.
Each day is a separate Double 720 event. The entry fee is £20 for each day.

Detailed Tournament Information
Double WA720 70m, 60m, and 50m for Recurve, Longbow, and Barebow on full 122cm faces.
Double WA720 50m for Compound on individual 80cm 6-ring faces.
World Record Status with WA Target Awards

Saturday 16th May 2026: Assembly 8.45 a.m. - Practice 9.00 - 9.45 a.m. - Start 9.45 a.m.
Entry fee is £20 per day. Payment via eventbrite only.
Four Archers per boss. Arrows will be shot in ends of 6 in 4 minutes, 2 details, controlled by Danage timing system.
AGB dress regulation 307 rule will apply.
Awards: Medals will be awarded each day to archers shooting age-appropriate rounds based on the number of entries in each category. WA Target awards will be available on Saturday and Sunday.
Arrows: This is a multi-use sports field and all arrows must be found. Therefore lost arrows must be reported to a judge or a member of the field party.
Registration: All archers are required to register upon arrival to confirm their target allocation in case of any late alterations. Proof of membership will be required for registration. Please ensure you can provide this offline.
Drug testing: Record status shoots are liable for Drug Testing. Any competitor approached to give samples for testing MUST comply. Refusal will be treated as a positive result. Parents / Guardians must sign the relevant form available at the registration desk giving consent for junior archers to be tested if approached.
Refreshments: Hot/cold food and drinks will be available throughout the weekend, from 7:30am each day. This will include bacon rolls for breakfast, jacket potatoes for lunch, homemade cakes throughout the day, as well as tea, coffee, cold drinks and snacks.
Catering will be cash only. Please bring a mug for hot drinks.
Photographs: In accordance with the Archery GB Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy, if you wish to take photos/video you will need to sign the registration form when registering at the start of the shoot.
No raffle.
Scores eligible for National Rankings.
Closing date is Saturday 9th May 2026 or when full.
No refunds after closing date.

The uses of the entry data include publication of target lists, results sheet and the submission of data for ranking purposes. The data may be shared with Archery GB, tournament organisers, scoring systems and other competitors. We will also use this to contact you about the event the following year.
