Calling all participatory scientists - the 2026 City Nature Challenge, a global biodiversity collection project run by the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County and the California Academy of Sciences, is next weekend! Minnesota is once again participating in the challenge, this time with two separate iNaturalist projects: the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Metro area, (11 county metro area)and the Brainerd Lakes area. So, pull out your smartphones, fire up iNaturalist, and get ready to record your observations!
