About this Event
We are excited to invite you to participate in our ongoing Citizen Science Pollution Mapping project in partnership with the Ocean Research & Conservation Association (ORCA)!
Attendees will get the opportunity to conduct hands-on science to assist in efforts to monitor the Indian River Lagoon. We will be measuring a variety of factors such as pH, turbidity, and other key indictators of the lagoon's health.
This is an excellent opportunity to meet some of the scientists from this organization, as well as gain valuable skills for use on resumes and more!
Please wear closed toed shoes and bring a water bottle, as well as sun protection. Everything else will be provided. Spots are limited so please sign up to ensure your spot!
We will be meeting at Sandpoint Park at 9:30 AM (Valicenti Pavilion, 2110104, Titusville, FL 32796)
