Cardiovascular Institute of the South (CIS) is hosting a free vein screening on Tuesday, July 21st from 5:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.

Guests will receive a complimentary ankle brachial index (ABI) screening and thermal imaging screening. An ABI is a simple, painless exam used to test the blood flow in the legs to determine risk of vascular disease. A thermal imaging scan uses new technology that can detect venous insufficiency. Results will be reviewed on site.

NOTE: Please wear shorts or pants that can be pulled up above the knee.

Risk factors of vascular disease include family history, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and diabetes, as well as smoking, being overweight or being inactive.
