Circle of Excellence - choosing your mindset to shape your outcomes
About this Event
Our initial reactions to situations don’t always serve us well. This powerful technique is used by world-class athletes, public speakers and world leaders. This is about reclaiming control over how we respond to, or how we enter, a potentially high-stakes situation.
Instead of being swept up by anxiety before a difficult conversation or presentation, the Circle of Excellence allows us to pause, step into our empowered self, and respond with intent. It’s a practical way to embody the principle that our mindset is a choice, and that choice can shape our outcomes.
Insights/outcomes
A great tool for developing resilience, creating the mindset appropriate to the situation, increasing confidence, moving away from Imposter Syndrome and determining our own futures.
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom” (Viktor E. Frankl)
Who should attend
People professionals, HR and L&D professionals, people managers.
What to expect
Prepare to be involved, to be on your feet and to get fully involved with this transformational process.

About the speakers
Experts in experiential learning, Bowles partners with organisations to design and deliver highly engaging, award-winning learning experiences for Leaders, teams and early careers. Learning outcomes and theory are brought to life through the tasks and challenges followed by in-depth debrief conversations. The immersive nature of the experience embeds the learning as realisations occur in real time with dynamic feedback from peers.
Bowles Teams & Leaders is affiliated with a charitable trust (Bowles Rocks Trust), so the profits from the high-quality, award-winning L&D programmes go straight to the trust, enabling young people who would not otherwise have the opportunity to have a life-enhancing residential outdoor adventure experience.
