What started as a phone call with our good friend Roy Ponce, asking if he would like to perform a birthday bash concert at The Livery - soon blossomed into a new project entirely, as Jake Cinninger was tapped to switch between bass and six-string for the gig - and "The Cinninger Ponce Experience" was born!
If you caught Roy's opening set for JacoReba a few months back, then you witnessed a blazing performance that saw Jaco himself jumping in to not only jam, but also create 2 brand-new songs with Roy, live in the moment! The magic was undeniable, and this project is going to move forward in that exact spirit of live improvisation, building on themes, and expanding the boundaries of their expansive catalogs of music. Buckle up, this one is going to eleven!
Joining the dynamic duo is drummer extraordinaire, Parker Rose. The Central Illinois native is a chameleon on the kit and seamlessly blends his style with multiple bands 5 nights a week. If you are unfamiliar with Parker - you will be walking out of this show not only remembering his name, but putting explicatives and mad respect on it.
