About this Event
CineVista: A Cinematic Tour of Iconic Hotels
April 6 - June 1
Pack your bags and check in for a cinematic getaway! CineVista: A Cinematic Tour of Iconic Hotels invites audiences on a globe-trotting journey through some of the most memorable hotels ever captured on film.
From sun-washed seaside resorts and glamorous city suites to mysterious European hideaways and haunted mountain lodges, these films showcase hotels not just as settings—but as characters themselves.
Each evening begins at 5:00 PM with a vintage-style pre-show featuring trailers, newsreels, and cinematic ephemera from the year of the film. At 6:00 PM, the main feature lights up the big screen of the Historic Camelot Theatre, with local film historians introducing each film and sharing insights into the movie, the hotel, and the fascinating stories behind both.
So grab your passport and settle into your seat as the Camelot becomes your departure lounge. This season’s itinerary spans India, the Florida Keys, the Italian Alps, Yosemite, New York City, and beyond.

The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014)
Directed by Wes Anderson
Starring Ralph Fiennes, Tony Revolori, Adrien Brody, Saoirse Ronan
Görlitz Department Store — Görlitz, GermanyInspired by Grandhotel Pupp — Karlovy Vary, Czech Republic
Wes Anderson’s whimsical masterpiece centers on the legendary Grand Budapest Hotel, a pastel-colored palace of luxury perched high in the mountains of the fictional Republic of Zubrowka. Under the impeccable management of Monsieur Gustave, the hotel becomes a stage for art theft, political intrigue, and one of cinema’s most charming concierge services.
