Kick off February and celebrate the season of love when the Farmington Cinematheque Series presents Crazy Rich Asians on Saturday, February 1, at 7 p.m. in the Henderson Fine Arts Center Performance Hall.
Directed by Jon M. Chu, Crazy Rich Asians is a critically acclaimed romantic comedy that tells the story of Rachel Chu, an American-born Chinese economics professor, who travels to Singapore with her boyfriend, Nick Young. Unbeknownst to her, Nick belongs to one of the wealthiest families in the country. The film is rated PG-13 and explores themes of love, family, and cultural identity, making it a heartfelt and entertaining choice.
