HONEYJOON is the first feature film by a Persian-American director, Lilian Mehrel. While on a US tour promoting her film (which she wrote, directed, and produced), Ms. Mehrel will stop in Savannah and join us for a conversation after the screening. HONEYJOON premiered at Tribeca after it won the Tribeca AT&T Untold Stories award of $1million (largest production prize in US history). It also won multiple Audience and Best Feature awards at other festivals and was named #1 on Vogue's standout films.

A hot surfer-philosopher guide helps them find each other and return to life.
