Cinema Nairn starts their Maggie Smith tribute weekend with a matinée performance of Ladies in Lavender, co-starring the great Judie Dench."We’ve long wanted to do a weekend feature on one of the many fantastic British female actors. So on the sad news of the death of Maggie Smith we have chosen films that showcase her skills over a weekend.
We are unable to get hold of The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie, but we think these films illustrate why she was such a loved performer".
