A common misconception is that Cinco De Mayo is Mexicos Independence Day. Although Cinco De Mayo is really only celebrated here in the US as a way to celebrate Mexican culture and heritage, we will be open to celebrate with a fiesta themed potluck, micheladas, and margaritas! 🍺🍸Until then, here is a little history... Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army's victory over the French at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862, during the Franco-Mexican War.
