About this Event

CIL’s Disability & Trans/Queer Pride event celebrates disability justice, creativity, and transgender and queer communities through live performances, music, art, storytelling, and collective care.

This accessible community gathering brings together disabled LGBTQ+ community members, artists, advocates, allies, and local organizations for an afternoon centered on visibility, connection, joy, and self-expression.

• MC hosting and performance by Obsidienne Obsurd
• Live performances by King Lotus Boy
• Music by DJ Fugwel
• Adaptive micromobility showcase and community tabling with BORP, featuring devices from their new MTC pilot program focused on adaptive mobility solutions
• Local vendors and community organizations
• Makeup station
• Quilt-making and storytelling station
• Food and drinks
• Quiet room / low sensory space



Featured Artist
  • Obsidienne Obsurd will serve as the event MC and performer. They are a celebrated rag artist, storyteller, and community organizer known for creating bold, unapologetic spaces centered on queer visibility, self-expression, and collective liberation.
  • King Lotus Boy is a transgender, neurodivergent, and chronically illustrious Chinese-American Drag King whose multidisciplinary artistic work explores identity, healing, and community through music and performance.
