On Tuesday March 31st, join FH Amsterdam owner Hamdu for a guided Cigar Tasting aimed at those new to the cigar world or looking to understand more about what makes a cigar great.
If you are new to cigars, identifying their subtle nuances can be daunting. Learning how to taste a cigar is one of the first things you need to master to find the right cigar for your taste buds. Every person’s palate is different. Taste is subjective, so defining what is a good cigar is impossible.
Cigar flavors can include earthy, floral, nutty, spicy, chocolatey, and sweet notes. But if you have never experienced a particular flavor before, you can develop your palate by trying different ones. Over time, you will be able to recognize similarities and differences, likes and dislikes, and different notes. This cigar tasting is a beginner’s class to thick rolled tobacco.
