Five venues, all in St Albans, have been nominated for consideration in this year's South Herts CAMRA Cider Pub of the Year competition.
Join us on Saturday as we embark on a fun trail around them all - and, in what is sure to be a close contest, consider which is to come out on top.
We're really keen for as many people as possible to participate in our judging processes to ensure our competitions always end with the right result.
Even if you're not a cider or perry drinker, you are welcome to come along and give us your views on other aspects of each venue.
Here is our itinerary:
12.15: Royston Social Club, College Road
13.45: Robin Hood, Victoria Street
1430: Great Northern and Beer Shop, both in London Road (because the Beer Shop is very small, we may need to split into two groups)
1600: Mermaid, Hatfield Road
With regards to getting from the Royston Club to the Robin Hood, for those who are happy to walk, it should take you about 25 mins. Alternatively, we can catch the S1 bus from Camp Road, which is due at 13.28, which stops outside Iceland, next door to the Robin Hood. All the other pubs are a short walk from each other.
