Hosted by Paul Watson, New Zealand Commercial Manager, the visit will showcase Rheem’s ongoing investment in hot water innovation, energy-efficient technologies and the future of domestic hot water generation.
With more than 35 years of experience with Rheem, Paul brings extensive knowledge of the hot water industry and the evolving needs of the New Zealand market. His longstanding involvement in the sector offers attendees a valuable opportunity to hear directly from an experienced industry professional about product innovation, changing technologies and the practical considerations shaping hot water system design.
The visit will include a guided tour of the Rheem Innovation and Learning Centre, featuring hands-on displays and emerging technologies, including heat pump water heating and solar PV solutions. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore Rheem’s manufacturing facility and gain a behind-the-scenes appreciation of its production processes.
The session will provide an opportunity to connect with fellow CIBSE members, exchange technical insights and learn more about the technologies supporting the transition towards more energy-efficient hot water systems.

Please arrive promptly for the health and safety briefing. Note: For the factory tour, attendees are requested to wear closed-toe shoes and casual attire with long sleeves; no PPE is required.
