The Cleveland Skydiving Center is happy to announce our second annual Chute and Shoot competition!
On July 4th, in conjunction with A & A Shooting and Hunting Club, we will be hosting this exciting event. All participants must have at least a B license. No firearms experience is necessary. We will be organizing jumpers in to squads, scrambles-style and expect to make three skydives and shoot three stages of action style handgun and carbine competition.
How it works…
Registration will close a few days prior to the event. Teams will be organized and we’ll meet up at 8:30am to start our skydiving portion of the meet. Expect to make two jumps landing at the DZ followed by a third load at 3pm landing at A & A. We’ll then head to the ranges for our three stages of shooting. There will be a Safety Briefing prior to shooting and experienced competitive shooters on hand to help the beginners. We’ll follow up the day’s activities with a Clambake in the range’s clubhouse where prizes will be awarded to the winning teams!
All firearms and ammunition will be provided. You must provide your own eye and ear protection. Foamie earplugs and sunglasses or safety glasses are fine. We’ll be shooting steel so there are no exceptions!
