Charis and the Georgia Center for the Book welcome Chuck Tingle for a celebration of , a supernatural joyride where Drive meets Beetlejuice.

Poppy Stringer was born to be a star.
An aspiring fashion influencer by day, Poppy moonlights as a grave robber to make ends meet, wheeling and dealing dead bodies across Palm Springs.
When her hero, the flamboyant, piano-slamming rockstar Eddie Michaels, unexpectedly dies, Poppy gets a call to retrieve his body from the medical examiner’s office for a lucrative sum. It could be the last job she’ll ever need—if everything goes to plan. But the night’s delivery quickly veers off course when Eddie wakes up.

About the Author

CHUCK TINGLE is the USA Today bestselling author of , , , , and . He is a Locus Award winner, and a finalist for the Bram Stoker and CALIBA Golden Poppy Awards. Tingle is a mysterious force of energy behind sunglasses and a pink mask. He is also an anonymous author of romance, horror, and fantasy who lives in Los Angeles, California. About the venue:

- All books will be pre-signed. There will not be a signing line/personalizations after the event but Chuck will be available for photos.
- Masks are encouraged but not required.
- This event takes place in the auditorium of the Decatur Library. It is fully wheelchair accessible with free parking right outside the building.

The event is free and open to all people, but we encourage and appreciate a donation of $5-20 in support of the work of Charis Circle, our programming non-profit. Charis Circle's mission is to foster sustainable feminist communities, work for social justice, and encourage the expression of diverse and marginalized voices.
