We are creating a scholarship in Chuck Palmer’s honor and name. It will be called The Chuck Palmer Missions Scholarship. We are doing this to help raise the next generation of church planters and missionaries. Chuck considered both very important and worked to accomplish this during his lifetime.
The scholarship is specifically for students at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary who are mission students, church planters, or pastors with a mission emphasis. This will be an annual scholarship and this gala is to raise funds in escrow in order to initiate the scholarship.
There will be a worship event and dinner on August 18, 2024. Tickets for the gala are $60 and this goes to cover your dinner and the scholarship.
There will also be an opportunity to donate at the event towards the scholarship.
This is a casual dress event as well.
Several churches, organizations, and people are involved in making this event happen. LifePoint is only hosting the scholarship and event page. Chuck would have wanted everyone to be apart.
