Chromeo is an electro-funk duo formed in Montreal, Canada, in 2002. Consisting of David "Dave 1" Macklovitch and Patrick "P-Thugg" Gemayel, the duo is known for their catchy blend of synthesizers, talk box vocals, and funky beats. Their music pays homage to the sounds of 1980s funk and disco while infusing modern electronic elements.
The Midnight is a synthwave duo formed by Tim McEwan and Tyler Lyle in Los Angeles, California. Combining elements of 80s pop, synthwave, and electronic music, their sound is characterized by dreamy synthesizers, nostalgic lyrics, and pulsating beats. Since their inception in 2012, The Midnight has gained a devoted following with their distinctive blend of retro and modern sounds.
