Christy Schillig's "Lessons in Falling"

Christy Schillig brings her second novel to the Montclair Book Center! In Lessons in Falling, the protagonist, Devon, lives a quaint and quiet life. Despite her preference to keep it that way though, a visit to her sister in a different city proves that anything can happen at any time. From embarrassing to mortified, the surgeon taking care of Devon after a nasty spill cannot help himself but take a few pictures to remember his residency before moving to Philadelphia. And, sure enough, the stars align, bringing Devon to the very same bar Dr. Jeff Harrison is sharing a few of those photos at, showcasing her in all her fallen glory. Are these star-crossed lovers? Or will Devon's fall from grace be her complete undoing?
