Ray Elliott and Shannon Elizabeth have been writing and rehearsing and performing songs from our self titled album Western Medicine. 13 songs recorded in Saskatoon. Engineered and produced by Ryan Andersen. An Alt-country folk album, two guitar’s vocals pedal steele and cello. Harmonizing the country and folk music of the prairies.Genre jumping Christopher & the Saints are an alternatively country(ish) folk rock group from Saskatoon on beautiful Treaty Six Territory.
The Saints sound is reminiscent of the 60’s and 70’s jam bands. They also pull influence from across the roots and Americana genres with a bit of a songwriters soul interwoven. Their music has been compared to artists such as The Grateful Dead, The Byrds and Blue Rodeo… among others
