About this Event
What does it mean to confess Jesus Christ in the context of the city?
Join the Transform & Train Institute for Christology for the City—a deep and practical exploration of who Christ is and what He means for urban life, leadership, and liberation. This seminar, led by Charles Shannon, draws inspiration from the groundbreaking work We Have Been Believers: An African American Systematic Theology (Second Edition) by James H. Evans Jr. and Stephen G. Ray Jr.
Together, we’ll explore how Christology speaks to the realities of injustice, identity, and hope in Black and brown communities. Whether you're a pastor, theology student, or ministry leader committed to gospel-centered work in the city, this session will sharpen your understanding and deepen your call.
Let’s center Christ—not only as Savior, but as reconciler, and Lord of the city.
