Christmas Wreath Making Workshop at Rosamund Community Garden

Come join us for a fun and festive Christmas wreath-making workshop at Rosamund Community Garden! Get into the holiday spirit and unleash your creativity as we guide you through making your very own beautiful wreath to decorate your home. This in-person event will take place at Longdown Road GU4 8PP.

We will provide a willow base, and foliage to weave in. Please bring your own decorations, extra foliage if desired, and if you have secateurs these will also come in useful.

Tea and coffee and a sweet treat are included.

The workshop will be led by Clare, Helen and Jane, volunteers at Rosamund Community Garden (pictured on the left!).

If the weather is fair, we intend to be outdoors, with a fire pit to keep us warm. If wet, we’ll be in the hub.

12 spaces (if there is enough on the waiting list we may also consider an additional date).

About the venue

At the Rosamund Community Garden in Guildford, we grow produce in tune with nature. We use no-dig methods, slow natural enrichment, and non-mechanisation to keep our soil (and plants) healthy.

The garden comprises ornamental and vegetable beds including four raised beds.

We also have a hub, seating areas, an orchard, two poly tunnels, a fruit cage for soft fruit, ponds, a bug hotel, and our trusty bathtub of mint.

The garden is ever-evolving and we'd love for you to be a part of its growth.

How to find us

We are located near Pewley Down, off Longdown Road, Guildford, Surrey, GU4 8PP. You can park in Longdown Road and then walk along the footpath at the first left-hand bend (the garden is set back on the right). Or a pleasant way to reach the site is to walk across the top of Pewley Down, then along the ridge through the shaded tunnel of Burgess Way, which brings you to the houses on your right and our entrance is the last farm gate on your left before emerging onto Longdown Road.

Cost of the workshop £30 (plus Eventbrite fees - please note that in the event of you cancelling, the £3 ish Eventbrite fee is non-refundable so please make sure you are committed to the booking).

If you cannot make the workshop, please let us know in good time so we can offer a refund (minus the Eventbrite fee) and offer the ticket to someone on the waiting list Apologies no refunds if cancellation is within 24 hours of the start time.
