You all know us for our Bonfire Night in November!
Now come and hang at our Burning of the Trees event in January.
Yes, it may be cold, it may be snowing or horrible weather but what could be better than hanging around a fire and enjoying craft beverages, food, fireside music and more...
Do you have a real tree for Christmas? Wonder where or what to do with it after the holidays? Bring it here and we will use it on the fire!!!
This will be like no other tree burning event in the area for the following reasons -
1) We know how to make a good fire and party!
2) You are always guaranteed awesome craft beverages and we will be releasing our 2025 vintage of the Old Cranleigh - Old Ale.
3) The fireside music will be amazing!
4) We haven't done it for a few years but will be bringing back our overnight Asado cookout! Don't know what this is? Well it's simple -
On Friday night we take delivery of a huge amount of meat (last time it was a whole side of highland cow). We then spend 16+ hours cooking it overnight over open coals to create the most amazing, tender food you can imagine and then serve it at the event right by the fire!
Were you given a crappy Christmas gift? Bring it with you and see if there is someone willing to trade for their crappy Christmas gift!!
There really is no other winter event like this and there is no charge to attend!!!!!!!
We do ask that if you would like to bring a Christmas tree for the fire you let us know in the signup/rsvp form so that we can coordinate drop off times etc.
We will be aiming to start the open fire cookout of the Friday evening around 8pm, want to hang with us for it?? Sure!!! We will have the Snug open and heated and all be drinking all night to get us through the long night, No offsite beverages but you are welcome to stock up at the pub and bring it down to hang with us!!!!!!
This is an all weather event so wrapping up warm is recommended. Bring your pop up chairs and lets have fun!!!!
