Christmas Stroud Chair Burlesque Workshop

Looking for a place where you can feel sexy, get out of your head and into your body, and become a powerhouse?

In this routine, you will learn how to use a chair to make you look fierce, in control and own the stage. Dancing ontop and around the chair bringing power to your dance vocabulary.

Who is this workshop for?

- Have some dance experience, but new to Burlesque

- People who want to work on the foundations of Burlesque movement

What to wear:

Make sure to cover your legs so you can glide around the chair (If you wear stockings, wear fishnets or skin coloured tights)

You want to be able to see the movement, move around and let your body breathe. We love to dress up a little to add some spice to our week, but not at all expected, show up how you feel.

Some suggestions if you're stuck:

Top: Vest, leotard or bra

Bottom: Leggings, tights or stockings

Shoes: Barefoot, indoor trainers or character dance shoes.

• Chairwork Techinque
• A piece of Christmas themed choreography
• Emboding a character, adding check, flair and flirtation to your movement
• Some simple acro chair movement
