Christmas Shopping for KidsWelcome to the 31st Annual Christmas Shopping for Kids event is December 7th, 2024 from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the Masonic Hall 112 East 5th Ave. Mitchell, SD
Wonderful opportunity for children (12 and under) to shop for the holiday season, in one location and from multiple vendors, for their family and friends.
The items the children purchase are wrapped for FREE! Thank you to all our wonderful sponsors & volunteers that come together to make this event possible!
How does this event work?
Parents or Guardians come into the Masonic Hall with their children. Then the children go with the "Santa Helpers" to purchase items from local vendors. Parents/Guardians go over to the common area for refreshments & wait for their little shoppers to complete their adventure. *Don't worry we leave the doors slightly open so you can still keep a watchful eye on your little ones*
All items on the vendor floor are $10 and under! Once the children have completed their shopping, they walk over the gift wrapping tables and the wonderful volunteers wrap all the gifts! Then you meet your children back up front and your done!
Couple of notes:
*Parents & Guardians - Please do NOT drop your children off and leave. Please stay at the Masonic Hall. This causing extra stress on the volunteers. Thank you for understanding.
*Children that are running around will be ask to slow down and be respectful. We know this is fun event! Please be safe while shopping.
*Lastly, please remind your children to use the shopping bags provided and not place toys in their pockets/jackets/make piles on the floor. Accidents happen & "Santa's Helps" do a great job! This helps everyone know that items were paid for and lowers the chance of items breaking.
