Please join us for the Hunter Valley ADA Christmas Party and presentation.From approx 4-00pm we have a shotgun shoot; we shoot 5 stand up the top of the range. If you intend to shoot you must have, enclosed shoes, hearing protection, firearms license and don’t have a beer beforehand.
Costs from previous years. For one round which is 25 clays. The gun club have all this on site to purchase.
You can hire a gun, $5-00. Plenty of members bring guns so can also borrow.
$10 for 25 clays
$10 for a box of 25 cartridges, you’ll need to allow 2 boxes per round. Unless you shoot 25 clays from the first barrel.
So, $30 gets you a round of 5 stand.
It's great fun, the guys from the gun club are great and always offering advice.
6pm: Christmas Party and Presentation
Cost TBA but it was $20 pp in 2023
Food will be provided but BYO drinks
Presentation:
Bring your best heads for the year,
Awards for all 6 deer species plus the following:
Grand Slam: Taking all 6 species of representative
heads.
First deer award.
Overseas species.
High Country Hog Deer (Novelty): this is a sambar stag of not great trophy value.
Best Australian Species.
Hunter of the year.
Junior Hunter of the year.
Senior Hunter of the year.
Pig, Goat, Buffalo, etc.
Major raffle prize will be drawn on the night.
Camping on site, if you won’t be driving home. Toilets and shower facilities available (bring your swag etc)
