Make your kids feel like they are the star of Hartford by walking with us in the Christmas Parade! We'll show our soccer pride and inspire more kids to join a team in the Spring!WHEN: Meet at 2:30 p.m. (Parade starts at 3 p.m.)
WHERE: Location to be verified. Typically we Meet on East Rossman Street between Main & 4th.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR: We are Float # TBD ... just look for a ton of orange and black!
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: Hartford Soccer Club players, coaches and parents for the younger children.
IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT YOUNG PARTICIPANTS:
- Players under 12 being dropped off will need a parent to sign them in/out.
- You must pick up your child at the Lincoln School lot as soon as we finish the parade. DO NOT wait until the parade is over (we want to watch the rest of the parade too!).
WHAT TO WEAR: Wear your game jersey or orange practice shirt (or U6 shirt) over your jackets. However, if you're too puffy to get a shirt over, don't risk ruining your shirt. Just adorn yourself with festive Christmas colors, twinkling lights, garland, Santa hats, etc.
WHAT TO BRING: If you wish to give out candy, bring your own. It's a perfect way to get rid of excess Halloween candy.
WHAT NOT TO BRING: Full bladders. Please be sure your child goes to the bathroom before you drop them off as there are no bathrooms on the parade route.
