Join Emily in this exciting beginners' lino printing workshop! Discover how to transform your favorite festive image or photo into a stunning art print just in time for Christmas. You'll be able to create your own cards, gift tags, and even wrapping paper! Emily will be by your side every step of the way, guiding you through the process from tracing and transferring your image to deciding which sections to keep and which to carve out using the cutting tools safely.
Get ready to unleash your creativity with a variety of colored paper and block printing inks. Feel free to bring along any specific shapes or images for inspiration as we'll be working on A6. Don't worry if you're unsure - there will be plenty of imagery to choose from on the day.
Make sure to wear clothing that you don't mind getting a little messy, as lino carving can be a bit of a hands-on process. Aprons will be provided for your convenience. You can bring a container to take home any extra prints, or leave them behind to collect later.
