Join Makerbay for a festive 3-hour workshop where digital design meets hands-on creativity. You'll transform flat sheets of wood into a beautiful, illuminated Christmas lantern, complete with your own custom designs.
Starting with a hexagonal lantern template, beginners can create their own patterns, snowflakes, stars and festive illustrations using CAD software.
Feeling adventurous? Take on the advanced challenge and design your own lantern structure, experimenting with shapes, patterns and creative construction techniques.
Once your designs are ready, watch them come to life through laser cutting. Assemble your wooden lantern, add warm LED lighting and discover how your patterns transform into beautiful light and shadow.
