Willow Christmas Tree Workshop
Join Lorraine for a festive Christmas Workshop at her outdoor studio in the Surrey Hills situated in the woodlands on the Birtley Estate in Bramley, an area of outstanding natural beauty. Bring some rustic charm to your garden and home in time for Christmas.
Weave your very own Christmas Tree from Willow ready to take home and decorate.
We make our Willow Christmas Trees by supporting the upright Willow rods in a jig and then using Willow withies to weave the tree. We start in a similar way to making a garden obelisk using a tabletop jig, the weave is then changed and we end up with a beautiful, full-looking Christmas tree.
There are different weaves that can be used to create your own design, every tree is unique!
Birtley Woodland Art Space: Workshops at this location are outdoors so please dress accordingly. We do have a large outdoor deck and shelter in the event of a shower.
