It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Kick off the holiday season in Bedford at Christmas in the Park on Friday, December 4, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Generations Park at Boys Ranch, 2801 Forest Ridge Dr.
Building on last year’s reimagined event, this year’s celebration will feature even more holiday fun, including:
• A holiday-themed drone show
• Lighting of the City’s Christmas tree
• Two snow hills (a second hill has been added!)
• Pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus
• Holiday marketplace with local vendors
• HEB ISD choir performances
• Mini train (NEW!)
• Lone Star Rydables (NEW!)
• S’mores
• Live reindeer
• Children’s activity tent
• Food trucks
• Even more sparkling lights throughout the park!
The City’s Christmas tree will shine bright during the tree lighting ceremony at 7:30 p.m., followed by a holiday drone show lighting up the Bedford sky.
Please note that on-site parking at The Bedford Center YMCA will be very limited. Additional park-and-walk parking will be available at the Bedford Public Library, Old Bedford School and City Hall buildings.
This event is FREE to attend. Just bring $$ if you're interested in purchasing food from the food trucks or shopping in the holiday marketplace.
A parking, road closure, and event map will be available on the City's website soon.
